Kevin J. Kelleher is president and chief executive officer of Cartus Corporation, the worldwide leader in global mobility solutions, serving corporate, government and affinity clients in more than 160 countries. With 30 years of relocation management experience, he has led Cartus on high growth and global expansion strategies, inclusive of multiple acquisitions and the creation of new products for distinctly different customer segments. Kelleher has transformed the organization’s culture, driving performance expectations and seeking and creating new customer and profit pools. He has vast experience and expertise in general management, organizational design, marketing, supply chain performance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Under his leadership, Cartus has been recognized as one of Connecticut’s Top Places to Work by Connecticut magazine and by the Human Resource Outsourcing Association as “HRO Relocation Provider of the Year” and “Relationship of the Year” for partnering with Raytheon. For nine consecutive years, Cartus has achieved the prestigious Top 125 listing status from Training magazine for its commitment to organizational development. Cartus also receives numerous industry awards for performance and innovation every year, including being named to the “Global Outsourcing 100” by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals. The company has also won numerous accolades for its dedication to environmental protection initiatives, such as employee ride-sharing and energy conservation.
Kelleher’s commitment to community and public service is evident by the extensive individual recognition he has received, but more so by his commitment and broad-reaching participation in charitable, civic and educational organizations. He serves on a wide variety of boards and advisory councils, including the Inner City Foundation for Charity and Education and the Connecticut Minority Supplier Development Council, which twice has honored Cartus as Corporation of the Year. Kelleher has served multiple years as campaign chairman for United Way of Western Connecticut, the YMCA, and Junior Achievement, into whose Hall of Fame he was inducted in 2003.
In 2005, Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell appointed Kelleher chairman of Connecticut’s Transportation Strategy Board and to the board of directors of Bradley International Airport, and in 2009, he was named the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) 2009 Minority Business Champion of Connecticut. Kelleher is a member of the Advisory Council of Fairfield University’s Charles F. Dolan School of Business, and in 2010 he was appointed to the board of trustees of the University of Connecticut.
