Event Descriptions

The 2009 Cartus Global Network Conference will include a focus on learning, networking and sharing of best practices.

Awards Dinner & Network Recognition
The start of the 2009 Cartus Global Network Conference will have you seeing stars as we roll out the "red carpet" to honor the outstanding achievements by our valued service providers. At the annual Awards Dinner, Traci Morris, executive vice president of Global Operations and Supply Chain Management, joined by Kevin Kelleher, president and CEO, will serve as the evening’s hosts as we pay tribute to the "stars" of our network by recognizing those with the highest service quality over the past year. They will announce the silver, gold and platinum winners, and unveil the recipients of the coveted Cartus Cup (Service Provider of the Year) and the Masters Cup, which distinguishes the continued exceptional performance of previous Cartus Cup winners.

General Session
At the General Session, Kevin Kelleher, president and CEO of Cartus, will provide an overview of the company’s vision and how the current economic climate has affected our business. He will also share his strategic plans for recovery and provide insight into the changes that will occur in the relocation industry over the next five years as we embrace this challenging environment. In addition, Traci Morris will present the strategy and operational responsibilities of Supply Chain Management and Client Services and detail how these newly aligned roles will help us to maximize our valuable resources while continuing to achieve our goals.

Rotating Workshops
The Rotating Workshops include two topics and two rotations. Participants will attend one session before the break and the opposite session after the break.

Learning Circuit Roundtables
The 2009 Conference will once again feature the ever-popular Learning Circuit Roundtables. Designed to be fast-paced and full of energy, these interactive sessions are moderated by Cartus personnel, network members and industry leaders, and offer an additional opportunity to participate in lively dialogue with an array of industry representatives. The roundtable format encourages open discussion and debate about a wide range of topics affecting our global network, markets and the relocation industry as a whole. To offer more time and less disruption, participants can attend up to three different sessions this year. Topics will vary by network.

Closing Networking Celebration
Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to rock as we close out the 2009 Conference. This year, we will hit the road to one of the most iconic destinations on the Chicago music scene – the House of Blues.
